Deponia is a comedic point-and-click adventure game developed by Daedalic Entertainment that was first released in 2012. The game takes place on a dystopian planet called Deponia, which is littered with garbage and inhabited by quirky characters.

The player takes on the role of Rufus, a selfish and arrogant character who dreams of leaving Deponia for the utopian world above. When Rufus meets a beautiful girl named Goal, who falls from the sky, he sees an opportunity to realize his dream.

Through a series of humorous and puzzle-filled adventures, Rufus and Goal navigate the eccentric world of Deponia while trying to escape to the world above. Along the way, they encounter a cast of colorful characters, including Rufus's ex-girlfriend Toni and Goal's eccentric father Cletus.
